I'm diving in to pray for...

Dear Lord,
In order to keep this blog and whatever other venues open to share my faith...I ask if you could update my still camera and help me to learn to use the video camera for your Glory.

In Jesus' name...Amen!

The Eternal Destiny of the Jew

"I just wanted to reiterate that it's important to remember that ALL 6 MILLION of Hitlers Jewish victims are DEFINITELY in hell according to Christian Theology." Ryan Anderson

To say that all six million Jews who died in the holocaust are in Hell, is a twisted interpretation of Christian theology. I am a Jew, and I became a Christian. Jesus was Jewish. The disciples were Jewish. The first 8,000 converts were Jewish. Christianity went "to the Jew first." It came
through the Jews, from the land of the Jews, to the Jews. Any Jew who believes the Scriptures will come to Christ. Those who don’t, wont.

Why then would anyone say that all Jews who died at the hands of Nazis are in Hell? Presumable it's because they are offended that Jesus spoke of the exclusive nature of salvation. He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me" (
John 14:6). That is exclusive, but that is what the Jewish disciples preached to their Jewish hearers: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).

This is the teaching of the Jew who (under the inspiration of the God of the Jews), wrote, "Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son" (
2 John 1:9). When God spoke to the Jews in their Scriptures, He promised to give them "one way":

"Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in my anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: and I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me."

So if you are offended that there is only one way to God, your argument is with Him.

The moral Law (which was given to the Jews) leaves each of us guilty before God, and any attempt on our part to offer Him good works through religious works (praying, fasting, doing good, etc.), are not "good works" at all, but attempts to bribe the Judge. Scripture teaches that those who offer religious works are motivated by a guilty conscience (see
Hebrews 10:22), and we are also warned that God will not be bribed (see Proverbs 15:8). The only way for us to be saved from Hell (our just punishment under God's Law) is if the Judge extends mercy. That’s what happened at the cross. God in Christ was paying our fine, so that our case could legally be dismissed. When anyone repents and trusts the God-given Savior, they receive forgiveness of sins, and the gift of everlasting life (See Romans 6:23).

Salvation from death is exclusive to Christ, but open to all (see
Acts 2:21). It is open to the Jew and the Gentile, to those who are black or white, to the wise and to the fool. Many atheists have become Christians, but before they could do so they had to make one small change (see Hebrews 11:6). It is easier for a needle to go through the eye of a camel, than for an atheist to enter the Kingdom of God. Psalm 10:4 tells us why:

"The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts."

That was true in my life. But I guess it's not true for the atheists who camp on this site. They think about God all the time...and how He doesn't exist. Funny that.

OK Lord...I'm diving in today!

When i first heard about blogging, especially in the evangelistic circles, i thought to myself, "I can do that!"  Now, that I created one, I'm wondering what I'm doing and why I'm doing it.  Plus, I'm questioning the fact, does the world, even the Christian world, need another blog site out there?  Well, when I think along those terms I have a tendency to want to run with the competition (if there is a gene for competitiveness, i carry it). I question my heart because my motives are not always good. I have to fight against them because i'm stuck with this sinful nature.

Look, until the Lord can straighten the kinks out of my heart and this blogsite then in it's true desire this will be all about Him.

A friend of mine, Michelle and a roommate at the Ambassador Academy, where we trained to be front-line street evangelists and more, wrote this poem.  I'd like to share that this is the kind of stuff that I want my heart and hopefully yours to be saturated with.

The Word of the Lord
The Word of the Lord
should be preached to both young and old
and to make the weak, strong and bold.
The Word of the Lord will not return void

There will be those who will be sick of hearing His name
And might try to cause you to be nervous or afraid
To try to stop the proclamation of his name
But do not in the least bit worry that day.
Stand firm, trust in the Lord, and just obey
and He will give you the words to say

Cause you never know who might hear you that day
and you might lead Him to the only way.

Praise the Lord!
You Didn't Quit!
You conquered the fear of man!

The darkness fled away
The light of Christ shined forth that day
and the great news that He came, defeated death,
Rose from the grave and is alive today.
Was even more boldly proclaimed
Maybe you'll see them in heaven one day.
because you shared with them about the only way
And God in His great love, and mercy caused them to come to repentance and faith
and saved them that day.

Praise God that He gave you the strength that day

Dear Father (my diary directed to the God of the Bible),

As i sit here pondering on a few things I want to first stand in awe of you. Blessed art thou O Lord our God, King of the Universe who formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of Life and man became a living soul. Blessed art thou O Lord our God, King of the Universe who brings forth the fruit of the vine and Blessed art thou O Lord our God, King of the Universe who brings forth bread from the earth.

Thank you for today Lord, I give this day to you. Help me to take care of my husband, sons and chores.. Let the meditations of my heart and the words that come out of my mouth be glorifing to you and edifying to them.

Please bless my desire to "Go..." tomorrow (July 4th) and utilize my free speech to read your Word and preach & share the Gospel.  Bless and keep safe all my brothers & sister who "Go..." and share the "Good News".

In Jesus' mighty name...Amen!

This blog is named after my favorite song...

Dive by Steven Curtis Chapman

The long awaited rains
Have fallen hard upon the thirsty ground
And carved their way to where
The wild and rushing river can be found
And like the rains
I have been carried here to where the river flows, yeah
My heart is racing and my knees are weak
As I walk to the edge
I know there is no turning back
Once my feet have left the ledge
And in the rush I hear a voice
That's telling me it's time
to take the leap of faith
So here I go

(Chorus)
I'm diving in,  I'm going deep in over my head, i wanna be
Caught in the rush I hear a voice
That's telling me it's time
to take the leap of faith
So here I go

There is a supernatural power
In this mighty river's flow
It can bring the dead to life
And it can fill an empty soul

And give a heart the only thing
worth living and worth dying for, yeah
But we will never know the awesome power
Of grace of God
Until we let ourselves get swept away
Into this holy flood
So if you'll take my hand
We'll close our eyes and count to three
And take the leap of faith Come on let's go

(repeat Chorus)

blessing,

Dedicating this blog to the only One worthy...and my family.

To my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

Father this blog is all for your Glory and Honor.  I am a broken vessel before you and my prayer is that you use this blog to draw people to yourself with the intent that I share the Gospel with them through text, audio, video and any other kind of media that you would teach me to use.

Father thank you for everything, i am grateful that you having giving me the Breath of Life and for my salvation gift of Eternal Life.

May my life always point the way to you through my thoughts, actions and deeds.

I also would like to dedicate this endeavor to my wonderful husband and three beautiful sons.

Praise be to you, my Adonai,
your child, dede
