Today's Feature: Jenifer Pepling. An Unconventional Way Of Sharing The Good News. So Effective!

Today's feature is about Jenifer Pepling.  Jenifer just returned from the Super Bowl Outreach 2013. She was joined with several like-minded evangelists to the event in New Orleans, LA.  For those of you curious about sharing your faith this may seem rather advanced, scary or down-right unconventional.  Well, it is!  You will never know when you'll need to articulate the Good News. One of the sole purposes for sharing this today is this...I don't expect you to go out and try this today but to listen to Jenifer and how God uses HER personality) in the way she delivers the Gospel message.  She is from Pittsburg, PA and her nickname is Giggles.  Listen...

I am including a link to help Jenifer get fully funded in her calling to share the Gospel message. In the "About" section of the website it states the following...  CCN is a Christian on-campus college ministry focused on evangelizing the lost and the discipleship of the found. Located on various college campuses, CCN incorporates on-campus Bible study, praise, worship, apologetics, evangelism, and on/off campus outreaches. CCN also provides mentorship, hosts men/women retreats, Spring break and Summer mission trips, special events, a School of Leadership, and free Evangelism Crash Courses for churches. www.changeyourcampus.com/jpepling
Please consider prayerfully helping in anyway you can!

A Right Given By Man Or A Command Given By God

Good Day!
I want share a quote by Tony Miano..."If you believe you must earn the right from the lost or be given the right by the lost to share the gospel with the lost, then you should examine yourself to see whose side you are really on. God may see you as an enemy combatant and not a soldier of Jesus Christ."

True Christians must lay down their fears to share the saving message of the Gospel. There is so much at stake in the current days we live in...where evil is good and good is evil.  The only way to penetrate through the darkness is to make it a priority to share your faith.

Tony Miano of Cross Encounters writes about this on his blog today. Click the following link and be edified...

Everyone KNOWS The God Of The Bible Exists!

It's true!  EVERYONE knows the God of the Bible exists.  The Atheists, the Sceptics, the, Muslims, the Jehovah Witnesses,  the Free Masonry, the Scientologists, the Christian Science...I could go on. That's why it will be easy for you to "go..." (Mark 16:15) and share your faith because they already know the truth that God exists but they surpress that knowledge.

Today, and often in the future, I will refer to these kinds of video series provided by Mark Spence of Living Waters.  He provides us with all kinds of great Christian apologetics and information in these few minute snippets.  This one is called "The Faith of an Atheist"  View it and learn.

Blessings,

Why Tracts?

Why Tracts?

Why should you give out tracts? Here are 10 reasons:

1. They are a very economical form of evangelism
2. They work while we sleep
3. They have the ability to get into a house and stay there
4. They are never afraid or show cowardice
5. They are never tempted to compromise their message
6. They never get tired, discouraged or give up
7. They stick to what they have to say and never argue
8. They can present the message when we don't have time
9. They can go to places where we cannot
10. They get people in the mood – they only speak when they are read

"When preaching and private tale are not available, you need to have a tract ready...get good striking tracts, or none at all...therefore, do not go out without your tracts."
– Charles Spurgeon

Pastors, Preachers, Priests Who Tell People To Just Ask Jesus Into Their Heart Because He Will Make Things Better Are NOT Preaching The Gospel.

Good day,
What does the post today have to do with learning how to share your faith?   Mainly, a person sharing their faith has to have a genuine conversion to be a Christ follower.  I say that simply because the word "Christian" is used very loosely today. Many believe they are Christians such as the Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, the crazy infamous Fred Phelps followers. Another example, is based on the premise that if the parents are/were Christians and they themselves were raised in the church, as i did for many years, then were are "IN" by proxy into the family of God. All claim they are Christians, but if you look very carefully at scripture, they are not in line with God's Word.
I share with you a post from Ray Comfort regarding my title today.  Yes, many of my references come from the Bible, but I also love to share what this man has to say. Now, you may be thinking, "isn't it more important to listen and take from the Bible than listening to man?"  True, yet the teacher or preacher must refer to bible verses in his text so that we as students have God's reference to determine whether he is in line with God's word. As you read Ray's article you will see scripture verses highlighted in blue. That means you can clink and hold your cursor on the verse reference and a little box will appear with the full verse.  And a parting thought for today... be careful because many will and do twist God's word to appease our tickling ears but, that's another post.

Have a blessed day and go to...

What are Gospel tracts?

What Are Gospel Tracts?

by Tony Miano
edited by Matt Slick
The dictionary defines the word “tract” as: “a piece of writing expressing a strong belief, usually about religion or politics.”1 Therefore, a gospel tract is a piece of writing expressing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
One source dates the use of gospel tracts as far back as the 13th century.
“The distribution of tracts predates the development of the printing press, with the term being applied by scholars to religious and political works at least as early as the 13th century. They were used to disseminate the teachings of John Wycliffe in the 14th century. As a political tool, they proliferated throughout Europe during the 17th century. They were printed as persuasive religious material from the time of Gutenberg's invention.”2
Gospel tracts come in various shapes3 and sizes.4 The content of gospel tracts varies based on the author’s or publishing organization’s theological perspectives. By and large, a good gospel tract contains a succinct presentation of the law and the gospel with a call for the reader to repent and receive Jesus Christ (John 1:12) as his or her Lord and Savior.

My favorite CHRISTmas Gospel Tract

Hi folks,
Hope you all had a very and blessed Merry CHRISTmas! Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. Mostly doing mom things, working part-time outside of home plus, a few other things on my plate. But, as God would orchestrate it, I always had time to give out a few Gospel tracts.

I wanted to share my all time favorite Christmas Gospel Tract.  I used this a lot since the onset of the holiday season. If your interested in ordering for next season (God willing) I'll leave you with the web site.  They also have a lot of other fun tracts for you to enjoy. Check them out...www.customtractsource.com.  Here's what the tract says on the back.

╰☆╮He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice... he’s gonna find out who’s naughty or nice! If Santa used the Ten Commandments for his standard, how would you do? Let's find out... Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen anything? (No matter the value.) Ever used God's name in vain? Ever hated anybody? The Bible says “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer”

╰☆╮If you are guilty of these things, it shows that in your heart, you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous, murderer-at- heart. Many people don't know that God will use the Ten Commandments to judge the world. Forget about Santa, "naughty" and "nice"... how will you do on Judgment Day? If you are found guilty, that means an eternity in Hell... 2,000 years ago, God sent Jesus to the earth to pay for your sins. When Jesus died on the cross, He took the punishment that you deserve for breaking His Law (The Ten Commandments). God's wrath came down on Jesus, instead of on you. The Bible says, "God commands all men everywhere to repent, because God has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness."

╰☆╮Remember if you try to get to Heaven on your own, you must keep every Commandment in thought, word, and deed! Jesus paid the penalty for your sins on the cross. Then He defeated the power of sin and death when He rose from the dead. Repent (turn away) from your sins. Place your faith in Jesus Christ alone to save you. God will grant you eternal life. Read your Bible daily and obey what you read.
